FAQ
Is Bookpay free?
Yes. You only pay Stripe's standard processing fee on payments you receive. Clients pay a flat €10 booking fee.
Who pays the booking fee?
The client, by default. You can pay it yourself or split it with the client in Deposits and rates.
Are there setup fees?
No. Creating your page and setting it up is free.
Do you take a commission?
No. We do not take a percentage of what you charge. Only Stripe's processing fee applies.
When do I get paid?
When the cancellation window you set ends, the deposit is sent to your bank automatically.
How does the cancellation policy work?
You set the window, for example 48 hours. Cancel before it and the client gets a full refund. Cancel after it and you keep the deposit. The booking fee is always refunded.
Which countries are supported?
Artists can join from 35 countries across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
I work at a studio, at two, or travel. Does it work?
Yes. Pick where you work each day, and set up guest spots one by one. You are always paid directly.
