The AI tattoo assistant that refuses to make tattoos
Athens-built Omi helps people work out their tattoo idea and find the right artist, using only real work by real artists. It never generates a design, and it now answers artists' Instagram DMs in their own voice.
AI image tools are flooding social media with generated tattoo designs, and many artists see their craft being copied, remixed and undercut by software. Inkjin, the tattoo discovery and booking platform, is taking the opposite approach.
"Most AI tools want to replace artists. Omi sends people to them. A tattoo is permanent. It should start with a real artist, not an image generator."
Ilias Hatzis, co-founder and CEO, Inkjin
